Little Bo-Peep Shelby has lost her sheep, so she tried to herd two-month-old “bottle baby” Survivor down Main Street during the Pioneer Days parade on Saturday. /JESSICA ARNOLD
Tom and Shelly Ryan are joined with others dressed as State Troopers bringing up the end of the parade on Saturday. /JESSICA ARNOLD
Thomas concentrated hard as he tried to hammer in two large nails during the kids logger sports competition. /ANDREA ARNOLD
The kids were all smiles as they hopped their way across the finish line. /ANDREA ARNOLD
Isabelle was a sure shot in the axe throw during the kids edition of logger sports. All of her throws landed points and she walked away the champion. /ANDREA ARNOLD
The rock paper scissors competition brought in a large adult crowd for a late night of cheering and visiting. Trisita Barnett and Joy Flemke were among the many competitors trying their hand at the game of chance. /ANDREA ARNOLD

Tress Cole (left) and Isabel Janzen (right) go head to head in the strong man competition. Cole usually excels in the logger sports but had to reel in her competitive nature as she is recovering from shoulder surgery. Competitor Janzen is in her third trimester, but did not let that hold her back as she walked away with the Lady Logger of the year award. /JESSICA ARNOLD
The kids dug in hard during the tug of war competition. /ANDREA ARNOLD

The McBride District Volunteer Fire Department hosted water soccer for the kids on Sunday afternoon. Although there was a cool wind blowing, the kids played hard and came away dripping wet and smiling. /ANDREA ARNOLD
Morgan Green was one of the many women participating in the Logger Sport skills competition. This year, there were only three categories, axe throwing, crosscut saw and strongman/woman competition. /ANDREA ARNOLD
Jason Wiltsie was among many entered in the Horseshoes tournament held throughout the weekend. /ANDREA ARNOLD
The Bill Clark Memorial Ball Park is a hub of activity during Pioneer Days. Clarks daughters, Christa Barnes, Sheila Basran and Jodi Littlechild, all volunteers with the Royal Purple, took a moment to appreciate the recently renovated park and newly hung sign honouring their late father. /ANDREA ARNOLD
(left-right) Lloyd Jeck – class of 1948, Ray Long – class of 1950 and Fred Leake – class of 1953 were the oldest graduates of McBride Secondary School attending the reunion held in conjunction with Pioneer Days. An evening of food, visiting and memories was held for graduates from 1948-1994 before the doors opened for a dance. /ANDREA ARNOLD
Josie uses her body to cushion a water balloon, preventing it from breaking. She and her partner continued to pass the balloon until it popped, splattering water everywhere. /ANDREA ARNOLD
