The Elks and Royal Purple hosted a two-day indoor garage sale in McBride over the weekend. The hall was brimming with tables filled with a variety of items from dice to large furniture, clothing and baked goods. The event was held to help cover upcoming bills and a few required upgrades to the building.
Not including cash donations outside of sales, they raised $2,626.00.

On behalf of the group, Elks member Tanya Phillips would like to extend a thank you to all who donated items, cash and those who attended. All unsold items will be donated to the thrift store and the swap shed (when it opens).

Tickets are on sale in McBride for their next fundraising effort. Saturday April 9th at 6:00pm they are hosting a Pierogi Dinner and silent auction. Tickets are on sale at Welcome Home and AG Foods in McBride. If people would like to support them and would like to purchase the meal portion, but are unable to attend in person, they are offering a pick up option check box on the tickets.
