Terry Remyn and her nephew Davis enjoyed a dogsled tour during Valemount’s Winter Fest. They travelled here from Ponoka. The family owns a cabin in Valemount and spends most long weekends here. “It’s the perfect family day,” she said. /LAURA KEIL
Const. Nick Theoret clocked the speed of contestants in the slapshot competition. The fastest shot was by Austin at 60 km/h, followed closely by Ryder and Gibson with 59 km/h.
