On February 1, McBride RCMP attended to a single vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 16 and 1st Avenue. The adult female driver claimed she had her cruise control set on her vehicle and as she was entering the village, she suddenly made a turn onto 1st Avenue because she had to go to the washroom. She unfortunately lost control of her vehicle on the ice and slid right into the ditch. Fortunately, seatbelts were worn by all occupants in the vehicle and nobody was injured.
