Playwright Sharon Stearns and the Wishbone Theatre collective is back at it, this time with a scintillating play that deals with money and revenge in a small town.
A woman returns to her hometown after a long, self-imposed exile, with a 100 million dollar lottery win in her pocket. She is ready to spend it on her crumbling, dilapidated town, and give ten million dollars to each of her four oldest friends. But there’s a catch….
An estranged husband, avaricious mayor, evangelical cop, Doomsday prepper, and a closet gambler must all make a choice that will have staggering consequences for them all. Factor in an unearthly thug, a very old angel, a child ghost, enchanting music, and you have Luckyville – Wishbone’s newest play offering for Robson Valley audiences.
The play features many regular Wishbone actors: Harold Edwards, Shara Gustafson, Isis Hiroe, Miwa Hiroe, Andrew Hyrhirchuk, Sarah McCrea, Sharon Stearns, Bob Thompson, Bridget Uhl and Monica Zieper.
