After a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19 restrictions, Wishbone Theatre is on a roll – three shows in one year!

Our 2023 season opens with FALLING OUT OF PLACE – A COWBOY TALE OF LOVE AND INTRIGUE by Sharon Stearns. It is winter, 1912 in Cremona Alberta. A husband is found dead in a snowbank beside his broken sleigh, his pregnant wife, hired hand and best friend are gathered on the homestead, holding secrets that implicate them all in his tragic death. Starring Abi Ward, Andrew Hyrhirchuk & Bob Thompson, directed by Sharon Stearns. Playing at the Valemount Community Theatre April 14, 15 & 16. Evening shows @ 7:30. Sunday matinee @ 1 p.m. and at the McBride Roundhouse Theatre April 21 & 22. All tickets $20.

i…. HUMAN, written and directed by Miwa Hiroe, opens in Valemount in mid-May. Starring Rachel Hayes Fraser, Laura Keil, Andrew McCracken and more! Miwa’s premiere production is a peek into the private lives of social creatures, revealing their virtues and foibles – a husband, wife, their elderly friend, and a robot named Rob, who perhaps embodies the biggest heart of them all. And currently in development is SHOWDOWN – A WESTERN MUSICAL by Sharon Stearns – a wild west show celebrating western myths about life, death, and love through iconic western characters. Scheduled to play Valemount, Dunster & McBride in November 2023.
