The residents of McBride were surprised to hear last week that the McBride
Scotiabank branch will be closing in the fall of 2024. At this time, Scotiabank is not releasing any details to the media aside from the following statement provided by Daniela Da Silva, Senior Manager, Canadian Banking Communications.
“After careful consideration we have made the decision to consolidate our Scotiabank branch in McBride, BC, and relocate our in-person services to our branch at 390 Victoria Street, in Prince George, BC, on September 18, 2024. We will share further details with customers who are impacted by these changes directly starting on October 31, and are committed to supporting our customers and employees through the transition.”
