On Sunday morning, a Facebook post was circulating recounting a report from a senior Dunster resident. The report stated that she was awoken when a man touched her. She said she saw him kneeling next to her bed. An updated post on Monday said that in the middle of calling for help and the shock, she did not notice which way he ran. She couldn’t solidly confirm if she heard a vehicle.

The family felt it was important to spread the word, and used Facebook as their platform. The RCMP was called and are looking into it.

“As we look into the events we do not believe there is any risk to the community or residents at this time,” said McBride RCMP Corporal Colin Bissell.
