With help from local businesses Welcome Home and Mountainview Boutique, the Easter Bunny visited McBride in the wee hours of Saturday April 9, 2022, leaving behind 270 brightly coloured eggs. About 24 kids took part in the Easter Egg Hunt event, making quick work of collecting all the treasures hidden in the grassy space between the two businesses on Main Street. Each egg contained a candy. Some contained a small prize that varied from bubbles to balls. A few extra special eggs contained small certificates for either hot chocolate from Welcome Home, or a goodie bag from Mountainview Boutique.
