The old MFI property on Zeidler Road just outside of McBride has been leased to the McBride Community Forest Corporation for use as a log sorting and reloading location for the community forest and other clients. “We are continuing with the original purpose of the land at a significantly lesser scale,” said General Manager Ray Thiessen. That purpose is to have the land used for light industrial purposes, primarily wood products. JV Logging has plans to also use a small portion of the property to set up a 7-12 person worker accommodation camp. /ANDREA ARNOLDRelated Posts:MCFC looks west for opportunityBRKH Custom Woodworking Ltd: Open for Business!Community Forest earnings down amid mill closuresDunster Community Forest updates mill, inventoryDunster Community Forest confirms Syncra purchasePost navigationHalloween fireworks planned for McBrideMask mandate for students K-Grade 3 starts today
