A media spokesperson for CIBC said the Valemount branch was closed this week because team members weren’t feeling well.
“It was temporarily closed out of an abundance of caution as some team members have been feeling unwell,” said Tervit.
She said the team is available by phone and that the ATM is open in the meantime.
“The health and well-being of our clients and team is our top priority, and our ongoing enhanced cleaning measures remain in place,” she said.
The bank is set to reopen Monday, November 9.
