Nick Beddington clutches two of the last six packs of Derailed Pale Ale ever sold from Three Ranges Brewing Co. Beddington volunteered in the early days of the brewery. Derailed was first released as “Mile 49” but the pale ale’s moniker was deemed too close to the name of a Vancouver-based brewhouse called ‘Parallel 49.’ The local brewery played nice and changed the name. It was Beddington who came up with Derailed as a replacement. Naturally, Beddington works on the railroad. /ANDRU MCCRACKENRelated Posts:Three Ranges Brewing wins IPA goldValemount craft beer fest 2019McBride Council - Bung Bung beer garden, and…Three Ranges Brewery: Another beer winsRobson Valley Music Festival gets beer garden, filmmakersPost navigationBailey the bear?
