On Wednesday the 10th of December, the Figure Skating Club put on an amazing show that encompassed the talent of beginners through the more expert All Star Classes of skater. The Event, a traditional Christmas Season highlight is held annually in McBride. Under the skilled leadership of Lisa Hruby-Trask with the assistance of Adaleena Mercuri, the skaters entertained a crowd of approximately 150. With skating solos, duets, small groups and larger ensembles the show moved right along until the climax with all the skaters involved.
Hruby-Trask has been responsible for this Holiday event for the last 14 years after graduating through local skating ranks some years earlier.
Following the completion of the event, the surprise arrival of St.Nicholas and his entourage allowed parents to capture some personal memories for distant relatives.
