The Northern Health Connections bus wasn’t running over the holidays. Dec. 22 was their last runs for 2013, with usual schedule resuming on January 7, 2014.

Northern Health Connections is a travel service program helping northern residents get to non-emergency health service appointments outside of their communities. Northern Health announced on Dec. 11 that Dec. 21 will be the last run of the year for the Vancouver to Prince George run, and Dec. 22nd is the last run from Prince George to Vancouver. The last run from Valemount to Prince George was Dec. 17th and the last return trip from McBride to Kamloops was Dec. 19th.

The Prince George to Vancouver and the McBride to Kamloops runs resume Jan. 2, 2014, with the Valemount to Prince George run resuming Jan. 7.

Northern Health says the call centre will close at noon on Tuesday December 24 and reopen on Monday December 30 & 31; then will be closed January 1, 2014 and reopen on January 2, 2014.
