Thirteen locals were amoung the hundereds of entrants in the 10th annual Canoe Mountain Rodeo, sanctioned by the BC Rodeo Association. And two local ladies placed for money – Kelsey Griffin placed 7th in Ladies Barrels, winning $131.95 and Hannah VanderWilk placed 6th in Junior Pole Bending, winning $16.61. This year’s event saw some of the largest crowds it’s ever drawn.
