This cute and furry sub aquatic rodent popped out of the water to see what all the commotion was above the surface. His silent winter environment has been overrun by winged intruders. He sat and watched awhile while nibbling on a reed. When he had his fill of the avian antics he slipped into the water and, while staying along the surface, glided almost silently past before dipping under the water. /ANDREA ARNOLD
