The town of Blue River hosted a Terry Fox Run on Sept 27, 2023 at 10 am. The run started at 10 am with participants running and walking a 5.34km route around town. Lake Eleanor was in her glory mirror imaging the fall colours and the mountains as the participants went by.
The town raised just over $2500 for the Terry Fox Foundation. Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing and the Blue River Elementary School teamed up to make the event a success and we look forward to this becoming an annual event.
