Cynthia Piper has been growing this pineapple plant for several years and over the past months, a pineapple has grown steadily from its centre. It lives in a large planter in front of a large south-facing window in her Valemount house. Piper said she previously grew a banana tree (it produced tiny bananas) and an orange tree (the oranges were tiny and horribly sour). She isn’t sure what she’ll try growing next. /LAURA KEILRelated Posts:Curling Club gets new lease on life after 2-year hiatusLocal pear tree still going strong at 65 yearsGourmet mushroom biz closes its doorsHousing for who?
