Power was restored to Valemount customers around 2pm this afternoon, after being out for eight hours.
A foot of fresh snow and school closures pushed many outside to enjoy the fresh powder or start their shovelling.
Several small outages persist, affecting just a handful of customers in the North Thompson and Robson Valleys: Under five at Bone Creek, five at Red Pass townsite (near Mt. Robson), and less than five on Eddy Road (McBride area).
