Valemount will be buzzing with late night shopping activities Friday Dec. 6th.

The evening will start around 5pm with the tree lighting at Centennial Park. Hot chocolate will be served at the park. Santa will arrive and lead a parade down 5th avenue to the Goat office where he’ll greet children and be available for photos.

Business owner Sherry Tinsley says there will be in-store draws for a gift basket (the draw will be at IGA the following day). Home-based businesses will be set up at the Legion and in the empty store next to Underwriter’s Insurance.

Three Ranges Brewing will be celebrating its 6th anniversary that night and have a special anniversary beer on tap.

Most businesses will remain open until 8 or 9pm that night.
