Mother and daughter, Kathy Wright (from Quesnel) and Marianna Sia-Drake (from Edson) enjoyed a rare opportunity to spend some quality time together recently. They visited Market on Main and sat in the giant chair out front while enjoying some fresh bread, visiting and soaking up the beauty. “I love McBride,” said Wright. “It’s peaceful. We can sit here and see all of main street.” The pair stopped in McBride on their road trip back to Edson where seamstress Wright will be altering a grad dress for a friend. /ANDREA ARNOLD
