Junior Fire Chiefs for a day, Taleigha Tinsley-Dawson, Hailey Dewey-Addis and Bronson Meehan (above) got to spend some time at the Valemount Fire Station last week. Fire Chief Rick Lalonde and members Conrad Broersma and Jasmine Taylor showed them around the fire station, let them try out some equipment, and the kids got to ride in the fire truck to pick up lunch from Pepe’s Pizza.
Broersma told them there are three junior firemen on the Valmeount team right now, but you have to be at least 16. Meehan says he’s got six years to wait, but he’ll be on the lookout for a Lego Fire Fighter set.
