Red foxes don’t weigh a whole lot with an average weight of just 10 or 11 pounds. There was a slight crust on the snow which enabled this beautiful and highly skilled predator to hunt for voles without breaking through. In a span of 15 or so minutes it caught 4 in 6 attempts./LEON LORENZ
