The Show ‘n Shine had 25 entries with the oldest car entered being the 1929 Roadster entered by Bobby from TGP in McBride. He had it all shined up for the parade and entered it in the show for further admiration. The other oldest vehicles were from the ’40’s. John Deere is celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the Model D which is what Two Rivers Farm brought in, its build date was 1942. The other 1940s vehicles included a Cock Shutt 30, a Willys CJ2A Jeep, and the 1948 Ford Pumper the Village has in their Fire Department Fleet! The newest vehicles were of course the EVs. The EVs varied
from Teslas, Bolt, to a Ford F150 Lightning, as well as the Village’s e-ride utility and the Rad Expand 5 EBike. The Electric vehicle owners answered many questions about their vehicles and added to the event. Left: Harold Edwards with his brand new electric F-150. Of the 25 vehicles entered the Fan Favourite was the 1957 Chevrolet Belair entered by Rod Lavoie, the honourable mentions went to 1968 Ford Bronco, 1970 Nova SS, 1942 John Deere Model D, and the 1974 Dodge Challenger.
