Several places around the valley have changed their hours recently. Below are some of the updated hours.

Valemount IGA is now open at 8:00 a.m. closing at 8:00 p.m.

Due to the Omicron variant, for the remainder of January 2022, Village of Valemount has closed the municipal office to the general public. Council and committee meetings will return to a virtual setting. Staff are encouraged to work-from-home, and essential in-person engagement with staff will be by appointment only. Mayor Owen Torgerson says they will re-assess on Feb. 1st. “We encourage everyone to use utmost diligence and layers of protection to limit the spread,” Torgerson said. “BC-wide and more specific Northern Health Authority restrictions remain in place.”

Caribou Grill is closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Driftwood Gallery: Weekends or by appointment. Weekend hours are 11am-4pm.

Sass Studios Inc. Wednesdays 10-6, Thursdays & Fridays 11-8, Saturdays 10-6, Sundays 12-4.

Wahoo Enterprises Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Rocky Mountain Goat (newspaper & bookshop) is now open 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Also Monday 9am-4pm and Friday 9am-4pm

Gigglin Grizzly Pub — open at 4:00 pm Thursday to Sunday

Robson Valley IDA (Located at McBride hospital) is now open 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm Monday-Friday (except stat holidays).
