Master craftsman Henry Unger passed away on December 12. He was 87 years old. Unger contributed to Valemount in many ways: his woodwork adorns many local buildings including the Swiss Bakery and the Valemount Hotel. Unger built the Trading Post on Main Street in recent years, an ambitious undertaking for a senior. Many enterprises are currently flourishing there. We will have more on Unger in the New Year. /PHOTO BOB HOSKINS/CEDAR WELLS PHOTOGRAPHYRelated Posts:Henry Unger-my friendChange of owners at the Valemount HotelWarm send-off for beloved town grocerReopening impact won't be seen til next week: Dr. HenryVillage puts new dividend money to workPost navigationEditorial: Urgent light in the darkWondering where to rent winter sporting gear?
