On January 12, the Tete Jaune Community Club hosted a traditional Ukrainian Christmas meal, with homemade food- wheat berries, borscht, cabbage rolls, and perogies, plus desserts. The hall was packed, lovely Ukrainian costumes lined the walls, the Silent Auction was good and so was the socializing. Money raised will go to kitchen renos at the hall, upgrades to the Rita Tichenor Memorial Kiosk and to the playground. Thanks to the volunteers for a lovely evening! /BETH RUSSELLRelated Posts:Early Easter in Tete JauneTete Jaune gets creative with Wreath-O-Rama contestRockslide closes lane at Tete JauneRoad closed amid Tete Jaune bridge workLooking backPost navigationRCMP Report: Father and son killed by avalancheValemount Council: Clean air task force; Work BC uncertainty; new crosswalk
