Re: Ancient Forest Park Proposal Consultation

I received notice of the Public Consultation meeting in McBride in a bulk emailing from the Caledonia Ramblers and was shocked by the short notice, time 5 – 7pm and the HUGE amount of land involved. I will make two requests:

1. The public input/discussion time must be extended a minimum of six months. This is a decision that will last FOREVER.

2. All lands that do not contain huge, old cedars should be removed from the discussion now! Highway 16 provides an obvious lower boundary.

I will assume that the public will be offered a time for an open, democratic debate on this proposal.
