During the Council meeting, an item from the BC Centre for Disease Control was brought forward as an information piece. It contained Information about how residents have been affected by the pandemic that is being gathered through The BC Covid-19 SPEAK Round 2 Survey: tinyurl.com/3umvuaa5 . The results will help inform B.C.’s response and recovery. It addresses four key areas: Life during the pandemic, what barriers exist to accessing vaccines, how things have changed and what supports are needed to help you through recovery.

Councillors wanted to communicate the importance of the survey with members of the community as the deadline is May 9, 2021.

“Please take the time to complete the survey,” said Deputy Mayor Rosemary Hruby. “Regardless of your opinions and experience, all input is valuable and will be used going forward as new responses are being formed.”
