The liquor store inside the Valemount Hotel has permanently shut down.
Valemount Hotel owner James Chen said his business partner who owns the liquor license is moving the license to a site in the Lower Mainland, as the Valemount location was not doing well.
“The sales here were very low and we could not cover the cost,” he said.
Chen says they will be looking at filling the space with another business and are open to inquiries.
