Valemount hockey coach Glenn Loignon said he was as proud as possible of his Novice team. The Valemount Novice Wildcats won all five of their games in Clearwater this weekend. “It was amazing,” said Loignon, “At that age it is tougher getting them to play positions. We were pleasantly surprised at the effort level.” Loignon said they had some amazing help from goaltender Colton. There are some local tournaments coming up, the next home tournament is the Atoms on February 1st and the Pee Wees home tournament kicks off on February 22. “It’s fun to see them having fun,” said Loignon. /PHOTO SUBMITTED
