There will be a parade, slow-pitch tournament, heavy horse pull, children’s activities, the Volunteer Fire Department’s Bucket Brigade and Dunk Tank, Logger’s events, pancake breakfast, horseshoe tournament, Show and Shine, helicopter rides, a dance, and many other activities. The parade is on Saturday with prizes for the bet decorated kid’s bike. There’s no need to register to be in the parade, just show up at the Post Office parking lot at 9:00 on Saturday. Call Deb Traquair for any questions about the parade, 250-566-8825.

The dance starts Saturday at 9:00 pm, featuring Roadside Splinter. Pick up your tickets at Home Housewares, the Farm Store or the Information Booth. Must be 19 years old to attend.

There are lots of volunteers already helping out, but there’s always a need for more, contact Kathy Molendyk at 250-569-3239 or Angela Traquair at 250-569-0211 if you’d like to volunteer some time.
