At their regular meeting on May 19th, the Valemount Legion presented an award to first place winner Daniel Woroshelo in the BC Yukon Legion Remembrance Day contest. Poppy Chairman Eugene Jamin presented Woroshelo the $200 prize for the win. Jamin said there were over 6000 entries in BC-Yukon. The Valemount branch submitted 11 entries to the zone level last October, and seven came back winners; three in first place and four in second. Woroshelos entry also goes on to the national level, so good luck again Daniel!
