We would like to thank the many people in our community who supported our efforts to fight for improved Public Education in BC. Thank you to the parents, grandparents, students, staff and community members for the waves and honks of support. We are grateful for your kind words, hugs and encouragement. Thank you to those who stopped by with cookies, cakes, doughnuts, hot chocolate and soup. We understand that it wasn’t easy for parents to find alternate care or activities, and appreciate those in the community who stepped in to help. Thank you to the parents who came to our community meetings. Thank you to those who stopped by and asked good questions on the line. We still have more work to do as a province to ensure that Public Education is supported and funded adequately. Let’s keep working together to ensure that our students and our schools are not forgotten.
